Programme curator at Private Members' Club, 1880. Curated events, experiences, travel, and art. Built out strategic partnerships for the club with various brands and companies like TBWA\, Chanel, Google, Veuve Clicquot, The Growth Faculty, Milken Institute, and many more. Spearheaded 1880's first Women's Forum and 1880NE, 1880's philanthropic arm. One of the highlights of my time at 1880 was planning a trip for members to have a private audience with the Dalai Lama.
Events & Programming
Curated a range of unique money-can’t-buy experiences. On average, 1880 has 90 events each month, including salon nights*, fireside chats, talks, trivia nights, secret suppers, comedy nights, film premieres, corporate events, product launches, wine tastings, programming for kids, wellness, and the list goes on.
*A salon night is characteristic of 1880. The night often starts with some questions and sets out to ask even more. A diverse spectrum of panellists are invited to be at the roundtable but anyone in the room is welcome to interject at any point in time. That’s how humans evolve - by conversing and constantly challenging what we think we know.
As part of 1880NE, we partnered with Magic Bus, an NGO for kids education in India to start on a feature length film on alleviating poverty.
Building Community
WOMEN'S FORUM
Helped to establish 1880’s first women’s forum. To foster strong community at 1880, we hosted a series of dinners for women who are each putting a dent in the universe in their own unique way. Every one who came shared their stories of most cherished moments, deepest wishes, hopes and aspirations, times of clarity and courage, times of doubt and fear, essentially – life.
1880NE
Helped to establish 1880NE, 1880’s impact foundation: one conversation, one idea, one resolve, one donation, one change, one world. 1880NE builds upon 1880’s existing and growing social capital to educate, mentor, and support individuals in becoming good philanthropists and impact investors. Curated the series, Doing Good, Doing well, a series of conversations at 1880 that drive the conversation of equality for all in status, rights, opportunities, and representation in political and economic decision-making processes.
Unique Experiences
Curated unique travel experiences for 1880 members including a private audience with the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala, India, 1880’s inaugural women’s forum retreat in Bali with guest speaker, Margie Warrell, and a trip to Bhutan to visit The Royal Family.
